Last night was fun. After the curtains fell down the kitchen ceiling sprang a leak. Water was dripping down from a small hole in the ceiling along the line of the drywall. Just what you want to find a 9pm when the kid has finally gone to sleep. Facepalm. Luckily, the water stopped when Craig turned off the main water supply to the house. Unfortunatly, the charming plumber (Johnny) who dropped by this morning was unable to find the leak. Johnny called this a "freak leak" and said that it happens sometimes. Great. Freakly, leaky old house. Between the boiler, the radiators, the electric shower and this mysterious ticking noise in the wall (that Johnny thinks could be a leak) this house has more percussion than Metallica.
On a happier note this is what my lunch looked like today:
| Ardrahan cheese from the Spar (like a european Mac's...fresh food, newsagents, deli, small groceries etc) |
| William helped. |
